The snow has melted, winter clothes are moving to the back of the closet, trees are in bloom, landscaping is in full swing, Summer People are returning, and friendships are being renewed. Road crews are at work repairing the stress of winter. The birds have returned and are tending their young, bears are out of hibernation, moose and deer are once again competing with automobiles. The black flies have returned to polinate the blueberries and to swarm us between Mother's Day and Father's Day. We are still wearing a jacket or sweater, and it might be rainy, and it might be 50 degrees during the day and 30 degrees at night, but the promise of Summer is here.
